CONTEST BEGINS AT 12:00:00 AM ET ON 02/01/2013 AND ENDS AT 19:00:00 PM ET ON 02/24/2012. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 19:00:00 PM ET ON 02/24/2012.
1. HOW TO ENTER: You must be 18 years or older to enter. This contest (the “Contest”) is brought to you by Family Video and is governed by these rules (the “Official Rules”). It is NOT sponsored in any way by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. You may enter by filling out a ballot by clicking the "CLICK HERE TO ENTER" link above. You must choose one nominee per category and click "Submit" for your entry to be submitted. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 19:00:00 PM ET ON 02/24/2012. No incomplete, forged or altered Online Entries will be accepted. Limit: one (1) entry per person. All entries become the exclusive property of Family Video and will not be returned. Any submissions are subject to disqualification at Family Video's sole discretion, for reasons of, but not limited to, multiple, fradulent or computer generated submissions, forgery, "gaming the system", cheating, etc.
2. SELECTION OF WINNERS: Drawing will be conducted by representatives of Family Video (the “Judge”). The Contest has four (4) “prize packs” to be awarded, and will be awarded in decending order of the highest scoring entries. All eligible entries received for the Contest will be given a score, as determined by the number of correct answers and each categories' point value (as outlined in the ballot). In the event of a tie in any prize tier, a winner will be chosen at random by the Judge. Winners will be notified by e-mail or by phone call to the number provided on the official entry form. If a prize winner cannot be contacted within 2 weeks of the Judge's first attempt, the prize winner will be disqualified and another winner will be selected.
3. PRIZES AND ODDS: Odds of winning depend upon the number and results of eligible entries received for the Contest. Grand Prize: Family Video will select a bundle consisting of 3-5 movies of Family Video's choice, a $50 Family Video gift card, and one Oscar® nominated/winning movie of this prize tier winner's choice*. *Subject to availability. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $150. 1st Runner Up: Family Video will select a bundle consisting of 3-5 movies of Family Video's choice, a $40 Family Video gift card, and one Oscar® nominated/winning movie of this prize tier winner's choice*. *Subject to availability. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $100. 2nd Runner Up:The Judge will award this prize tier winner a $40 Family Video gift card. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to individual legal residents of the 48 U.S. and District of Columbia, age 18 or older as of 02/01/2013, except employees (and their immediate families and members of the same household) of Family Video and their respective affiliates, agents and advertising and promotion agencies.
5. VERIFICATION OF WINNERS AND DELIVERY OF PRIZES: Each winner will be required to verify their delivery information (address). Prize may be awarded to alternate winner if verification is not received within 14 days after first attempt of notifying the winner or if prize is returned as undeliverable. Each winner agrees to Family Video’s use of his/her name, address, likeness and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law, any such use with respect to a minor to be subject to prior approval of his/her parent or legal guardian.
6. GENERAL: This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. This Sweepstakes will be governed by the internal laws of the State of Delaware. Any and all legal actions or claims arising in connection with this Sweepstakes must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within the United States of America. Family Video is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, postage due, stolen, incorrect, misdirected, misplaced, garbled, misaddressed entries/mail or communications, or for errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures or malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications devices or transmission lines or data corruption, theft, destruction, unauthorized access to or alteration of entry materials, loss or otherwise.
